Modificaton of "Deco" I redesigned the kosada, inc. website from scratch. It provides some cool things that weren't possible on the old, custom-coded system, such as image carousels with links. The biggest improvement, though, is the newfound ease of updating and keeping track of content. Not necessarily glamorous, and not readily apparent to the casual visitor, but a key feature and focus of a lot of work nonetheless. Some of the other main features:
- Automatic path aliases based on hierarchical taxonomy tags for search engine efficacy
- Mainpage block that shows a random customer testimonial on each pageload, with a link to the project description
- Carousels containing a new image and project title from their respective categories on each pageload
- Frontpage newsblog
- List of projects by region that links to and displays taxonomy tags for each project whose main description page has location data entered, automatically sorted by country/state/city.
- Menu blocks that only appear on relevant pages for easy navigation – eg. when viewing any page in the "software" section, the "software" submenu is visible in the right sidebar. When viewing anything in the "web" section, the "software" menu disappears and the "web" menu appears.
